The interior and landscaping project of the Faria Santos Building treats the common areas as a large square, reinforcing the interface between internal and external spaces.
The homogeneous material palette, floor-to-ceiling windows, and spacious circulation areas aim to blur these boundaries.
Users are invited to access the building through extensive tropical vegetation and a flooring covering characteristic of open areas in Porto Alegre: irregular basalt. This stone is visible throughout the entire floor, without differentiation between the interior and exterior.
To establish an open relationship with the facades, the condominium areas receive exposed concrete elements and vegetation, which are distinctive features in the building’s volume.
The central core of the floor plan articulates internal uses. Covered in the same wooden finish, it houses support areas and serves as a neutral background for the surrounding spaces.
Floor lighting and transparent partitions ensure a clear view of the trapezoidal shape, inviting residents to take a stroll around it.
Despite the visual continuity, each environment has its own identity. The lobby, party room, gym, kids’ space, playground, and pool all feature Brazilian design furniture and custom carpentry, sharing the same concept while maintaining unique characteristics in each location.
In the clarity of solutions and connection with nature, the Faria Santos development stands out for the refinement of simple living, promoting contemplation of life in the comfort of one’s home.
