The plot is located in a condominium in Estância Velha, in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre.
The lot has the peculiarity of offering two fronts directly related to green areas. Our proposal is to occupy the ground floor with a central strip, aligned to the lateral boundaries, in order to optimize open spaces and take advantage of the views.
The built portion of the ground floor was designed as a natural extension of the two courtyards, allowing free circulation between the two frontages of the plot.
On the second floor, the bedrooms are arranged around a central void. This atrium connects the social areas with the more intimate spaces on the upper floor.
The orientation of the upper volume aims to create two covered balconies on the ground floor, freeing up space for terraces on the second floor and directing the bedroom views toward the natural reserves.
The materiality and architecture of the project prioritize the use of industrialized systems, such as metal structure, drywall partitions, and steel framing. The design seeks to highlight the prefabricated elements, emphasizing their constructive essence.
